Sparky opening STC
The new school location of STC group at Waalhaven 16, in Rotterdam, was officially opened by Mayor Aboutaleb, Alderman De Jonge and Chairman Frits Gronsveld. The new campus is in the midst of the future field of work of SMEs who are preparing for a career in port, logistics, aviation, rail or road transport. This makes it a wonderful place for mbo students to get ready for tomorrow's world. With the adjacent VMBO building on the Anthony Fokkerweg, the new location forms a campus.
The transparent building provides an attractive learning environment for students and a nice working environment for teachers and other colleagues who enable high-quality MBA education. In addition to spacious classrooms, open learning centers, canteens and a large gym, the location offers plenty of room for day-to-day education. For example, the STC Group self-developed transport chain simulator, truck simulator and ERTMS simulator used by rail students. New at this location is the Warehouse Practice Room of the Future. Here, logistical students can fully start investigating, implementing and improving logistics processes and actions.
