Official start of construction Schalkstad

The festive start of the construction of the Florida block in Haarlem took place on Wednesday 25 September. Together with the municipality of Haarlem, shopkeepers, local residents and shoppers, area developer AM is celebrating the start of this area development.

The area development contributes to improving the quality and quality of life in the area surrounding the shopping center. The strategic expansion of the range of shops and walking routes in the center plus the arrival of the Kinepolis cinema chain strengthen the appeal of the area. The development will take the place of the current parking area of Centrum Schalkwijk.

Construction is expected to last until the summer holiday of 2021.
