Construction of residential tower in Delft is about half

26 June 2020

A tower for student houses and apartments for young people is being built on the Pauwmolenterrein in Delft, designed by Bureau070. The majority of the 285 units are housed in the tower and the other homes are in the plinth development. This also includes communal facilities and a management room. A parking garage and a spacious indoor bicycle shed are being built under the building. The outdoor space for the students is shared, located in the inner area.

The plan is located right along the A13, which means that there are great noise requirements in the plan. The soundproof screen is made of glass and has a steel construction with concrete buttresses.

The Pauwmolen tower will be 55 m. (17 layers) high, at the moment slightly more half of the construction layers have been realized.
