First plank for rugby club RFC Haarlem
It is clear that rugby is full of traditions when you walk into the old clubhouse of RFC Haarlem. The many relics will soon be moving to new premises. Alderman Merijn Snoek assembled the first floor there on Sunday with chairman Alexander van der Heiden and building committee member René Verbruggen.
It is not the last plank that the trio, with great interest, runs effortlessly at the Van der Aart Sportpark. The contours of the new building are already clearly visible.
Pieters has a warm heart for the sport and is the constructor of this project. It will be a classic English clubhouse.
