Progress Entrance Building AMC in Amsterdam

15 October 2020

The Entrance Building for the Academic Medical Center in Amsterdam is under construction. Since the first pile on 11 August, 204 piles have been drilled. The last pile went into the ground on September 18.

The different transport flows - originating from public transport, car, bicycle and walking traffic - come together in the building. The entrance building consists of two floors. Level -1 provides access from car traffic, while level 0 provides access to the surrounding buildings. This is also where the footbridges for pedestrians from, among other things, public transport are located.

The next video shows how the first pile went into the ground.

You can read more about the project on the project page on our website.
